Taking The Plunge
Martin has participated in the Lansing Special Olympics Polar Plunge, an event that raises funds for over 23,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities to participate in year-round sports. The money also supports Special Olympics’ health and wellness programs that provide physical examinations for these athletes and anti-bullying programs. At the 2019 edition of the Polar Plunge, Martin was the top fundraiser.
