Job Summary
Martin Commercial Properties is looking for a creative and collaborative Graphic Designer to join our team and elevate our visual brand. As Graphic Designer, you are excited about contributing to the company’s evolving visual brand by creating brand centric assets for all lines of service, across all applicable marketing channels.

The Graphic Designer will provide a wide variety of design support for the company’s Commercial Real Estate marketing initiatives. This is an opportunity to join a respected, forward-thinking company and team of professionals.

Candidate must be confident, organized, innovative, detail-oriented and a capable communicator and problem solver. This is an in-office position located at our office in East Lansing, MI office.

Key Responsibilities/Job Functions
• Design and produce property brochures, proposals, site plans, maps, signage, and other collateral materials as needed.
• Create enticing and engaging graphics for use with social media content and digital advertising.
• Create unique marketing assets for high-profile properties, specialty projects and events.
• Update and enhance photos, maps, site plans, videos, and other collateral materials.
• Establish regular, effective, and comfortable communication with Martin team members
• Maintain and update the Martin library of standard company boilerplate signage, brochures and other branded materials.
• Review internal and external collateral materials, ensuring brand standards and verbal identity are maintained.
• Ensure compliance with company brand standards with the company logo and consistency of visual identity products.

• Video editing skills.
• Ability to learn and utilize tools such as Canva and Asana project management.
• Strong collaboration skills.
• Interest in learning the commercial real estate industry to collaborate and enhance marketing strategy.

Minimum Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a business-to-business industry.
• Excellent Proficiency of Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or related design programs.
• Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to take initiative and multi-task in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Physical Requirements
• Those activities associated with general office work include but not limited to sitting, walking, standing, talking, or hearing, for extended periods of time. Using hands to write, key, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Other activities include reaching, stooping, kneeling, crawling, crouching, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
