Commercial Real Estate Intern

Martin Commercial Properties is currently seeking summer interns to join our team in East Lansing, Michigan. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated self-starters possessing strong people skills, business acumen, and leadership potential. We offer training and development designed to equip interns with the skills required for future success in the commercial real estate industry.  The internship will include exposure to brokerage, property management and general commercial real estate administration.

Overview of Responsibilities:

• Develop targeted contact lists from MCP database for property listings, perform email and telephone inquiries, assist in quantitative analysis and research.
• Coordinate gathering of site search materials. Research properties for sale or lease that match the criteria.
• Assist sales associates with property tours, deliver marketing materials, and schedule follow up with interested parties.
• Assist property management team with client related projects.
• Coordinate leasing activity notes and reporting for assigned properties.
• Perform maintenance and update database records; post listings, sales, and leases.
• Other projects and assignments as needed

Qualifications: 

• Currently pursuing BS/BA with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Prefer incoming juniors or seniors but will consider other class levels
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
