Job Summary

The Assistant Property Manager works in conjunction with and supports the Property Management Department in managing all aspects of single property or portfolio investments in commercial, retail, industrial, office and multi family including operations and financial expenditures. Provides superior customer service to tenants, vendors and property owners.

 

Key Responsibilities/Job Functions

  • Interacts regularly and responds promptly, professionally, and courteously to all tenant needs and requests.
  • Proactively coordinates with maintenance team and/or third-party vendors to resolve tenant-related Communicates promptly all follow up and follow through items to appropriate parties.
  • Works closely with vendors, Martin employees, and sometimes property owners to ensure issues are addressed and objectives are defined and being met. Anticipates and responds to tenant needs and concerns.
  • Completes and coordinates work orders with maintenance and third- party vendors. Prepares accurate and timely reports.
  • Digitally uploads all building and tenant communication per company procedures.
  • Performs regular janitorial and other inspections of properties as directed.
  • Assists and administrates tenant move-ins and move-outs and completes proper paperwork.
  • Codes and approves invoices and forwards on to Accounting in a timely fashion.
  • Assists as needed in the administration of expenses and billbacks, and compliance with lease terms, and legal issues.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum three years customer service
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver’s
  • Reliable vehicle and current automobile insurance

 

Physical Requirements

  • Those activities associated with general office work including but not limited to sitting, walking, standing, talking, or hearing, for long periods of time. Using hands to write, key, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Other activities include reaching, stooping, kneeling, crawling, crouching, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
